Scooter theft can happen to anyone! Scoot Richmond is here to help you protect your ride. We carry a selection of chains and locks from OnGuard and Kryptonite (most of which have an anti-theft guarantee for those folks who register their locks), and we can help you decide which lock is best for you. Some locks work better with some models of scooter than others, and some locks are far more resilient to attack than others. Not all chains are equal, and the stuff they sell at Lowe’s isn’t going to defeat a less-than-honest thief, that much is certain!

For those scooterists who do not have the luxury of a garage, we have scooter covers too. A scooter with a cover on it says “Hey, I’m a bland gray lump of medium size” versus saying “Hey, I’m a shiny new scooter”. Using a cover on your scooter also protects it from the weather.

When choosing a cover, it is important to consider how and where you will be using your new cover. For those who have no other protection for their scooters, we have super mega heavy duty weather resistant covers. These covers are often so beefy that carrying them in your scoot is often impractical, as they do not pack down well. For those who use a cover on a regular enough basis to want to take it with them, Scoot Richmond offers standard weight covers that become compact when not in use.
