Rocket III Roadster 2300

With the world’s biggest production motorcycle engine, the latest Rocket III Roadster builds on the huge performance of the original Rocket III but now with even more torque. The 2.3 liter three cylinder engine is designed to be an arm-wrenching thrill to ride, yet easy and unintimidating too, despite its thunderous roar. Its sweet handling chassis, rigid frame, and sophisticated suspension gives you the confidence to sweep through corners and change direction with an agility that belies the this Roadster’s size. The 2014 Roadster features blacked out components including the radiator cowls, rear mudguard rails, airbox cover, fork protectors, and mirrors, giving it an even more menacing look. There is nothing else like it out there, not to look at or to ride.

The capacity of the Rocket III is huge–2,294cc, with a gut churning 221Nm at just 2750rpm it has more torque at idle than most superbikes at full chat! The latest engine iunrestricted thereby delivering its full strength in the first three giving it an almighty punch. The three big cylinders are arranged lengthways along the bike to keep it manageably narrow and align the crankshaft with the final shaft drive, but to tame the reaction of the massive torque, the crankshaft counter rotates so the bike stays steady when the throttle is blipped.

The big tubular steel twin spine was designed to be strong and rigid enough to contain this powerhouse of a motor, but Triumph also focused on giving you an improbable level of agility. The sportsbike-style  upsidedown 43mm forks are strong enough to cope with all of the force that a bike like this can muster, but the internals are sophisticated enough to provide a plush and controlled ride. A bike of this strength needs a pair of vice-like 4 piston brake calipers, and the Rocket’s grip 320mm front twin discs and a huge 316mm disc at the rear. Plus it is backed up with our ABS system for maximum peace of mind. Beautifully neutral steering and low speed balance completes the confident riding you’ll do when you are on a Rocket.

Every new Triumph Motorcycle comes with a 2 year unlimited mile warranty. Scoot Richmond offers a myriad of customizable extended warranty and prepaid maintenance options on the purchase of any new Triumph too!

The fuel tank holds 6.3 gallons of gas, and the Rocket III Roadster gets approximately 29-45mpg.

Starting price on the Triumph Rocket III Roadster is $15,500. Please note that the MSRP does not reflect freight, prep, tax, tags, title and other dealer fees.
