Eating long distances in supreme comfort is what the Trophy does best! Added to that is its amazing ability to transform into a motorcycle that equally happy to tackle the twisty roads. With the Trophy SE, Triumph has built a remarkable sport touring bike and upgraded it with electronic suspension and a host of other features, including a high quality sound system with Bluetooth and iPod connectivity, TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system), a USB port, and additional 12v power socket.

The result is the ultimate in touring bike luxury with the most comprehensive levels equipment ever seen on any Triumph. All paired up with the sharpest, best handling chassis in the class and a muscular torque laden 1215cc engine steeped in three cylinder character. This spirited engine delivered excitement on demand. No need to wait for the revs to ride or be forced to kick down a gear at the wrong time. This engine pumps out a incredibly useable 132 HP, spreading the power across the rev range to give you effortless acceleration and smooth cruising. The ride-by-wire throttle makes sure that you get exactly the torque you want and expect, super important in a bike designed for long distances. The Trophy’s tall 6th gear allows you to spend more time on the road and less time at the gas station, and while cruising you should get 250 miles between refills. The low maintenance shaft drive means even less stops at shops while driving cross country.

The Trophy features intelligently linked 4 pad 4 caliper front and rear brakes, with switchable ABS. This provides the safe and well-balance stopping even in emergency conditions. You also get electronic traction control, which compares the speeds of the front and rear wheels to prevent loss of control even in the slippery conditions. Electronic cruise control comes as standard too, so you can maintain a steady speed in all terrain. Comprehensive on-board computer with fuel economy and range readings, average speed as well as two trip meters, TPMS, and heated grips and seats.

Handling is impeccable, with the front and rear suspension adjustable form the left side switch so you can take full control of its outstanding agility. The windshield is electronically adjustable from the switch as well, and it remembers the last position in which you put it. Even the mirrors and foot position have been intelligently designed to keep you comfortable and dry in all conditions.  As a serious all-weather rider you need to use lots of electrical devices, so the electrical system of the Tiger Explorer is powered by a class leading 950W alternator, plenty of juice for you to use for heated grips, heated seat, heated clothing, extra lights, chargers, GPS, you name it.
