The Buddy 125 is considered a motorcycle in Virginia. While you do not need to have your motorcycle license to pick out and purchase your new Buddy, you will need to have your license in order to legally drive the Buddy 125. You’ll also need to have motorcycle insurance (which is very affordable). The Buddy 125 must have a yearly vehicle inspection, title, and license plates, but Scoot Richmond will take care of all of that stuff for you.  Lastly, you must wear a DOT approved helmet and eye protection.
