Scoot Richmond’s service department is where the magic really happens! From everyday services such as tire replacement and oil changes to long term custom projects such as vintage scooter restorations, our trained technicians can handle just about anything.

We offer repair work on all of the scooters we sell, as well as many scooters purchased elsewhere. We’ll be able to quickly and efficiently take care of almost any problems with your scooter from the Genuine Scooter Company, SYM Scooters, Vespa, Piaggio, Honda, Yamaha, and Suzuki, as well as vintage scooters from Vespa and Lambretta. We can also perform service on Tomos mopeds, as well as some other vintage mopeds. Please note that Scoot Richmond does not perform service work on any scooters that are manufactured in China and have no major manufacturer/importer support. Scoot Richmond’s labor rate is $70 per hour.

We can do many services on your scooter while you wait! Just give us a call and set up an appointment so that we are prepared to get you back on the road within an hour or two. Some examples of service work that we are happy to perform while you wait include basic maintenance (including scheduled tune-ups based on time or mileage or just a simple oil change), tire change, replacement of brake shoes or pads, installation of accessories, and most other everyday services.
